Happy New Year 2010!!

Winter break in Japan was traditional and fun. Family visits, friends' visits, dinner and all...Lots of fun. New year visit at a local shrine was significant. People were celebrating with drinking sake, prayers, young girls (about 12 years old) dance for the Absolute. My sister was serving the role as well when she was around that age. Festive feels all around in the small shrine.

Coming back to Texas to start new semester. Life around teaching students. It is challenging at the same time, a lot of rewards from their feedback. This is my 4th year ending semester except for the summer intensive study abroad. A lot of things are going. Brent's PhD. in Art Education sounds intellectually challenging and very interesting genre. I am wondering if I can incorporated the idea into language teaching. There should be!!
